Idaho couples petition Supreme Court to lift stay, allow same-sex marriages

After the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down Idaho’s gay marriage ban, the attorneys and plaintiffs in Idaho’s case gathered for a news conference in front of the James A McClure Federal Building and United States Courthouse on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014 in Boise, Idaho.
