Many Groups and Clubs permit a little "friendly game" in the clubrooms. Far be it from us to criticze anyone for anything, as we like a little game occasionally ourselves. But we have all known of cases where the games got out of control. We have well-deserved reputations for intemperance.
Card games can be the breeding place for a grand emotional upset and, incidentally, it does not help a fellow's chances of sobriety to send him home broke to the wife and kids.
